The USA system is broken. If the government is shut down in 🇨🇦 it doesn't mean government programs stop, payments still happen, it just means bills are stuck in limbo. If a budget fails to get passed it means an election is triggered, because the current government isn't functional

It makes sense when there's a dictator in power that hates the free press with a passion. Trump has been attacking any news media that isn't right wing propaganda. It doesn't matter if the newspaper is unbiased, to him if it isn't praising him constantly, it's an enemy to be destroyed

Unfortunately my provincial government seems to prefer posting and responding on X so if I want their attention I go there. Honestly I'm surprised they haven't blocked me yet
