Lots of pubs and the occasional pint!
...is the huge terrace overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Leigh Woods. There are also small summer bars outside labelled as ‘Gin O’Clock’. Very pricey but worth it for the view! I drank Independence IPA at £7.20. 2/2 #Bristolpubs #realale

Lots of families in booths, friendly staff, wood floors and fairy lights, and apparently a great place to see the sunset (although not when I was there!). I drank Butcombe Original at £5.55 and also sampled the Adam Henson’s Rare Breed. 2/2 #Bristolpubs #realale

It has several levels with lots of exposed brickwork and flagstone floors, and bars on both main floors. Very busy with a football crowd when I visited. ‘Crack’ ales are brewed for the pub by the local Twisted Oak brewery. 2/3

Also has a partly-covered rear yard and tables on the pavement. Good relaxed vibe and a pint of shandy for £3 if that’s what you fancy! I drank J.W. Lees Bitter at 5.10. 2/2 #Bristolpubs #realale

...however there is a nice pavement seating area at the front with an artificially flowered wall, facing onto a quiet street with little traffic. Piano singalongs on Weds evenings. We drank Sharp’s Doom Bar at £5.85. 2/2 #twooldbankers #realale #camra #westendpubs

Great view of Epstein’s controversially naked sculpted figures representing Day and Night on the Art Deco building housing St James’s Park tube station opposite. We drank Fuller’s Seafarers and Nicholson Pale Ale at £6.35. 2/2 #realale #camra #westminster #londonpubs #twooldbankers

In September 2015 the venue gained brief fame when the just-elected new leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, led his supporters to it for a celebratory singing of The Red Flag! We drank London Pride & Oliver’s Island at £6.35. 3/3 #realale #camra #westminster #londonpubs #twooldbankers

It’s a converted early 20th-century office building on an ancient marshland site and also Tothill Fields, which was the setting for of trials by combat and 18th-century duels. The fields were within the limits of sanctuary at Westminster Abbey, hence the pub’s name. 2/3

...and is another equipped with a (now redundant) Commons division bell. It's a hang-out for lobbyists & policy wonks with intimate drinking booths lending themselves to conspiracy and plotting. Great illustrated signwork above the ground-floor bar and welcome air conditioning on a hot day. 2/3
