Random Bristol Pubs #1: Lupe, North St, Bedminster, Bristol BS3: Not a pub I know, but a lovely small busy bar with different levels, in what used to be a bookshop. There are lots of craft beers and bottles and three cask ales to choose from. 1/2

Random West End Pubs #11: The Old White Horse, St Clements Lane, WC2: Small hidden pub owned by LSE and tucked away in one of the nearby back streets. The pub fortunately survived the great Edwardian clearance scheme in the first few years of the twentieth century...1/2

Random Westminster Pubs #4: The Feathers, Broadway, SW1: @Nicholsonspubs redbrick pub dating back to 1898 and built for the New Westminster Brewery. Busy with lots of chat and welcome a/c, with red leather backed booths, floral wallpaper and a dark wood panelled bar. 1/2

Random Westminster Pubs #2: The Westminster Arms, Storeys Gate, SW1: A small wood panelled @ShepherdNeame pub close to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. The pub was rebuilt in 1913 and refurbished in March this year...1/3

The Rose, Rose St, Northfleet: local’s pub with the leasehold held by Ebbsfleet FC, which is 10 minutes walk down the road. One bar pub with separate pool room and some Ebbsfleet memorabilia but not as much as I would have expected. Friendly locals to watch the football (not Ebbsfleet!) with. 1/2

SE London pub #67: Sarah’s Place, Hither Green Lane, SE13: bit of a cheat this as I already posted this bar when it was known as Drink at Bob’s, but Sarah has now taken it over and it’s definitely still worth a visit. 1/3

Random West End Pubs #9: Sherlock Holmes, Northumberland St, WC2: previously known as The Northumberland Arms, this @greeneking pub was rebranded in 1957 as a theme pub, and it even contains a replica of the 221B Baker St sitting room, using items from the Festival of Britain exhibit. 1/3

Random Westminster Pubs #1: The Red Lion, Whitehall, SW1: @Fullers corner pub close to Parliament and a favourite venue for MPs and SPADs, with a (now redundant) division bell. Rebuilt in the late 1890s very close to the site of a Red Lion brewhouse dating back more than 500 years. 1/3

SE London pub #66: The Great Harry, Wellington St, Woolwich, SE18: Wetherspoon’s pub in the middle of Woolwich and named after Henry VIII’s flagship built in the nearby dockyard. 1/3

Random Islington Pubs #3: The Narrowboat, St Peter’s St, N1: small two storey @YoungsPubs pub, built around 1860, and running alongside Regent’s Canal with a basement at canal level. The pub looks older on the outside than inside, which is modern and airy. 1/2

Random Islington Pubs #2: The Wenlock Arms, Wenlock Rd, N1: small late-Georgian pub built in 1835 which served as the brewery tap to Messrs Lane and Bowden's nearby Wenlock Brewery until production stopped in 1962. 1/4

SE London pub #63: The Earl of Chatham, Thomas St, Woolwich, SE18: large @StonegatePubs pub refurbished in 2022 and catering to the younger crowd, staying open until 4am at weekends, and featuring lots of ads for cocktails and shots. 1/3

Random Euston Pubs #4: The Euston Tap, Euston Square Gardens, NW1: definitely out of the ordinary, the pub occupies the majestic Grade II listed West & East Lodges outside Euston Station, although the East didn’t seem to be in operation when we visited. 1/3
