What’s on my easel this week: 🛌

I started the largest oil painting I’ve ever attempted on a 36” x 48” canvas that I’ve had kicking around for 15+ years and it’s making me feel like I never want to work smaller again.

I never believed that true job satisfaction really existed until I met a guy my age who drove a Zamboni for a living and he told me, “whatever you imagined it to be like as a kid, it’s even better.”

I regularly get “We’ve sure been missing you around here!” emails from UberEats when it’s only been 12 hours since I last ordered. Did they hire the Duolingo owl as their Marketing Director?

TFW you wake up tired because you had an exhausting dream/nightmare, like the one I had last night where I misplaced my phone in a time before Find My Phone existed and my partner and I spent literal ages looking everywhere for it.

I’ve sent this photo to my partner almost every day since I took it because I can hear the activation sound our cat makes whenever I look at it, and it always makes us both laugh. Does your relationship have any such image?

Shoutout to the introverts who go to events/shows alone, buy their tickets online, and interact with literally no one when there so that they can get their social card validated before crawling back into their cave of solitude
