I would start with learning git, its fairly simple and can save you a lot of headache later. This is a good cheat sheet about.gitlab.com/images/press... with these being the most important steps:

Cogan is weirdly placed station. Lots of potential for access to the bay and an easy way to transfer from penarth to barry. Perhaps the station can be split like heath high and low level. Being able to walk from one to the other, plus the access to tesco and the sport village would be good.
