This week I had my first face to face parents evening since 2019! Really nice to connect not via a screen and give some lovely feedback about year 7!

Finished reading this yesterday. Been ages since I read a book that made me so uncomfortable! I got very emotionally invested even though I felt I couldn’t like any of the characters, but then felt bad for judging them! My money’s on Reece Witherspoon buying the production rights for this one…

I finished for half term today (end of my working week) by writing and sending positive postcards home for some fantastic students who always do their best, every lesson 😊

Parenting win: being organised enough to think about World Book Day outfit on 2nd Feb.

Even bigger parenting win: Biggest small saying ‘I can be a ladybird again like last year!’

Loved presenting in a T&L briefing for staff this week. I was ridiculously nervous right up until I started speaking, but felt great to be able to speak on behalf of a group of learners and share ideas with others 😊
