Why I don't use this cycle lane, reason #423.
A poorly lit cycle lane, after dark, in the rain. The same cycle lane, a little closer. Wands along the edge of the lane are visible in the distance. The same cycle lane, closer still. A wand is in the cycle lane, with the "foot" at 45 degrees to the cycle lane, completely blocking it. The wand and "foot" are still almost invisible, despite being around 2-3 metres away. The same as the previous photo, with the "foot" circled in red to make it more obvious to the viewer.

A cyclist is in lane 1, with an HGV to their right in lane 2. Headlights of an oncoming car in the opposing carriageway are visible. The oncoming car has turned across lanes 1 and 2, to make a right turn into a road end. The cyclist has come to a complete stop. A Strava speed graph, showing the speed drop sharply from 46 km/h (28.5 mph) to 4.9 km/h (3 mph)

Green pedestrian lights and red traffic signals don't apply to the driver of the white van YR70FTZ.
A black car driver stopped at a pedestrian crossing with the green man showing. A white van driver is approaching from the opposite direction. The white van driver has now driven completely through the crossing and her started to make a right hand turn, still on a red light. The white van driver completes the right turn through the red light. The registration is YR70FTZ.

I'd usually be another metre to the right here to avoid the awful road surface.

Good afternoon, Please note we are in receipt of your email and our management team are also aware of the issues / circumstances you have raised. We have reviewed the footage uploaded, and read your concerns (as have our management team) and would firstly like to offer our apologies on behalf of the driver in question, and confirm that this style of driving, lane jumping and horn use is not our expected driving standards, nor the type of style we want any of our drivers to exhibit. Our operation director will be meeting with the driver in question on her return to the office to discuss this incident in full and to review this footage with her. The matter will be dealt with internally, and we would again wish to apologise, and also to thank you for raising this with us. Brilliant place to overtake and then try to turn left. 10/10 driving as usual from Edinburgh drivers going into a park.
Approaching a right hand bend. The front left corner of an overtaking car is visible. On the bend. The car is alongside and has still not completed their overtake. The driver is now indicating left, while driving towards oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road, approaching a roundabout.

The front end of a blue appears, overtaking the cyclist at the traffic island and on the zig-zags The car passes. It is a blue Mazda, registration SP68 GKG and is driven by a cunt.

Shockingly bad brakes on this car. The driver had 4 seconds to stop, but still didn't think they could manage to stop for the red light. Of course there was a @policescotland.bsky.social car behind me whose occupants did nothing at all, as usual.

Beeped at for not using the cycle lane. As I'm passing the cyclist who is in it. The incompetence of Edinburgh drivers is astonishing.
