My 3rd SSI Collaboration Workshop last week, an amazing & energising event as always! This one felt extra special: this time I actually had my own group to bring along! Team building + sustainable software, all in one 🌱 #newPI

Thanks @softwaresaved.bsky.social !

Grant writing in the Cambridgeshire sun, not the worst way to do it! (I do have to periodically throw the ball, today’s research assistant is quite strict on that 🐕)

What is scientists' attitude towards the carbon footprint of their simulations? A mixed bag according to this survey in fluid dynamics: low awareness and low priority, but researchers know it can and should be improved.

Really great work here! @official-uom.bsky.social

Fancy peeking behind the curtain of Generative AI? I really love this cartography of genAI by the Estampa Collective... absolutely fascinating, but fair warning, I may have lost track of time...

Quite amazing to have a look at the original charter book of The Royal Society dating back to 1660… and a chance to search for some famous signatures (swipe for Newton and Darwin) #PairingScheme24
