What would your pick be if you wanted a "rainbow" paw print to commemorate your dog's passing? I first thought multi-colored glass, like in the second photo. But them I thought about an actual rainbow-colors paw print. I've asked the person who made the request, but haven't gotten an answer yet.

My client commissioned this piece as a gift for a friend who'd lost her husband. He sent me her favorite poem and gave me carte blanche to create whatever the poem inspired. Which I think might have been more difficult than a specific subject matter!

I like this plan.
Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you
