In fact, there’s not a single Democrat amongst the three challengers who won last night. Instead, there are three people perfect for the job, and for the task of healing the community. At times I’ve mistaken this for a political story but it’s never been that. It’s always been a human story.

What has happened in WPSD has not been partisan, it has not been about D and R or red and blue. It has been about civil liberties, about fighting to keep the district from being parceled up and sold off (quite literally). Families have moved. Teachers have been fired. Lives have been upended.

I would humbly suggest that one test their politics for accuracy before attaching such a large portion of their personality to them.

Likely a difference in which Census Bureau data they're using. SAIPE, SPM, or various of the official measures.

But your case wasn't that there was a marginal drop between 2022 and 2023, it was that the postulated increase in poverty was "not true at all."
