Though not a #weirdcarbs for Oz, I thought y'all other folks may be interested in seeing the Kia Tasman in the wild. I took the XPro top spec to Noosa North Shore this weekend. Obviously untroubled by normal beach running, overall remarkably comfortable and competent. Would own.

The holiest of grails: Holden SSV Special Edition essentially disposed of the left over Pontiac G8 bits after GM went bust and took poncho out for a walk to the top paddock. Yes, there was a sedan(of course) a ute (a la G8ST) and this delicious V8 RWD wagon #weirdcarbs

Technically still #weirdcarbs because apparently behind the custom bobblehead of me that my son got me for Father's Day, is my Holden Commodore/Opel Insignia/schnell katze. At least they got the outfit right. 😁 Other references are provided below...

Back in ye olden days, you could option a 350 Chevrolet small block in Holden's, such as the Statesman, below. As this was bigger than the local Holden 253 and 308 engines, people would put the Chevy bowtie on the grille, denoting it's place in the cubic inch pecking order.

I can't recall if I've shared this local on #weirdcarbs A Holden 48-215 based panel van allegedly one of three built before three panel van became a thing with the FJ I think around 1951. Either way, it's rare AF, and it's good to see he's had it resprayed.

Has anyone been snookered before?
Despite driving about 40 new cars every year, I can't find anything to replace the speed cat. New cars are too same same (or massively expensive). I'm not ready for SUVs or EVs.

I saw a Porsche Carrera GT drive past this morning but did not take a pic. If I did, would it be worth of #weirdcarbs or is it a bit supercar-y?
