On the way back there was a small local insect museum. 3 euro's well spent. They had a big 🦋 greenhouse.

The hike was short and not really a hike at all a simple walk with a bit of incline. Nice to be in some nature. Even though the air was thick with humidity it felt better.

Good tip for Nara, go early, take plenty of fluids. You can snoot boop all the 🦌 you want. You can even feed them some leaves if you want no need for cookies.

Isuien Garden, we did the museum as well and it's a beautiful small collection of chinese and Korean ceramics and old chinese seals. Garden was the MVP of the day. Such a nice finish.

Kasugataisha Shrine, was surrounded by hundreds of mossy stone lanterns along the forest roads. Those and the nature around the shrine were the real highlights for me. It was nice to walk alone in a bit of forest

The Tamukeyama Hachimangu Shinto Shrine was the least visited of the local shrines. Much more quiet than the others. You could definitely take a moment for yourself here.
