My son finished another lap around the sun 🎂🎉
For his birthday I got him a Scratch programming book, a Kirby novel and the Undertale art book. I also got him a watch and a Bandai Namco pass. He LOVES Taiko no Tatsujin and now he can save his progress at the arcade 👾

My daughter loves to play memory so I made this for her in Unity. Was a fun little exercise. I finally learned how to use UI toolkit. If you’d like to play its on my itch page

I finished the last lesson of #gamedevtv low poly character course. We modelled this character and then added an animation from mixamo! Can’t wait to start adding 3D characters to my game prototypes! #blender #gamedev

I made another low poly model today, following along with the low poly character course on gamedevtv. I Feel like I’m making a lot of progress in a short amount of time… but I’ll find out for sure when I try to design and model my own character outside of the tutorials. #blender #gamedevtv #gamedev

Yesterday I learned how to model an entire character out of a single cube. With daily practice Blender is slowly starting to feel more familiar.

I challenged myself to recreate the ship controls and screen wrapping mechanics from Asteroids. Then I designed a simple ship and modelled it in blender. Making games feels like magic 🚀 #gamedev #unity #blender

I started taking a course on creating low poly characters. These are the first models l've made for this course. I’m happy with them! Probably too early to tell but I think I like 3D modelling more than pixel art. #gamedev #blender

I wrote a character controller with double jumps, wall grabs, air dashing and walking on ground that is not flat. I also set up health for player and enemies as well as transitions between scenes.

Not sure if I’ll make a game with this but it was a good exercise. I started learning pixel art too.
