It's very illegal that the Christmas tree is up before my birthday but look at how happy the cats are 🥺

Made the viral Trader Joe's dumpling bake! 🍽️ 🍜

Found salami and cheese on clearance, so I got charcuterie at home for cheap!
Three different kinds of salami (cranberry Brie, garlic asiago and Gouda) and four different kinds of cheese from Beehive (hatch chile, promontory, barely buzzed, apple walnut smoked).

Found some naan pizza crusts on clearance and did personal pizzas for dinner. Pepperoni for everyone else then I made those two 🍽️ 🍜

Tried Kenny Shopsin's macaroni and cheese pancakes and my variation on that, nacho pancakes. Honestly? Nacho ones were better. 🍜 🍽️

Made Reuben pierogi using an old perogie maker. 1) the pierogi held up really well and barely leaked despite some having tears/not sealing completely. 2) this recipe was so good 🍽️ 🍜
Rye dough pierogi in a mold. The pierogi laid out on a baking sheet to freeze. Some of the boiled and fried pierogi on a paper plate with a bowl of Thousand Island dressing. A white hand holding up a pierogi split in half so you can see the corned beef/Swiss/sauerkraut filling

Turns out spiedie marinade was really good in this. Made chicken kebabs and served them over rice 🍜 🍽️

Anyway this diner was surprisingly mid considering all the positive reviews. Coffee was sludgy and needed more than one packet of sugar, pancakes tasted like they were from a mix that'd gone stale, but the Polish sausage was really good.

Bought a box of Green Giant's creamed spinach since they stopped selling it in my area years ago. Tried it on some tortellini for dinner and it has potential.

Creamed spinach with parm and mozz? Spinach based sauce? Not sure yet 🍜 🍽️

Made shrimp boil for dinner at older stepkid's request. A+, would make again 🍽️ 🍜
A pot of seafood boil cooking, which includes quartered lemons, corn on the cob, sliced andouille sausage, and small potatoes. Shrimp will be added in a bit. Two bowls of shrimp boil: left uses the regular spicy seafood boil in a bag seasoning and right, minus sausage, uses Kinder's buttery garlic and herb seasoning in the broth.

Got a banana split at Tony's Ice Cream in Gastonia, NC. Fruit and nuts made this a pretty filling meal! 🍜
