Despite growing up atheist, my family would always go to this Easter buffet when I lived in the US. It was always something I looked forward to. Now that I live in NZ with found family, I try to do things with them that carry that tradition on. So I got us this big glorious strawberry cake 💖

Takeaway cup attempt 2 - much better!! Only problem with this one is that I overcompensated on the duct and it will only hold a small flat white, not a large 😅 The clay is Potters Clay Nelson HFW with grog made from a rock I found on the 309 Road in Coromandel. #ceramics #pottery #handmade

My first attempt at a lidless reusable takeaway coffee cup. Too wide! Doesn't fit in my car cup holders, feels awkward to hold. Mouth opening is fine for drinking though so there's that!

My first attempt at a lidless reusable takeaway coffee cup. Too wide! Doesn't fit in my car cup holders, feels awkward to hold. Mouth opening is fine for drinking though so there's that!
Do love the way the tenmoku breaks and changes over the clay body too

Sorry I've been so quiet here bsky friends 💖 I got the Amaco ceramic printing Inks in blue, red and yellow and mixed them and did these little testers. They've just come out of the bisc and then I'm going to clear glaze half of each tile and fire to cone 6.

Experimenting with my #pizza game. This one uses a considerable amount of corn meal in the dough... Probably too much! Not my ideal texture, but still tasty. Toppings are olives and pork sausage.
