Imagine borrowing someone’s credit card, spending it on yourself.. then charging them for the privilege.

That’s the scam of privatised water.

Households foot the bill for upgrades, but £22bn will go to investors and creditors.

Without fixing social care, this NHS plan could be the most expensive sticking plaster in history.

It appears Labour are borrowing from the Conservative playbook - ignoring the social care crisis because it’s just too hard.

Airlines make big promises, but the only thing that will really reduce aviation emissions is not taking the flight.
Why airlines are revising green transition plans as SAF production fails to take off
New mandates on sustainable aviation fuel use are adding time - and cost - pressure for airlines to decarbonise, even as their ability to operate the most efficient aircraft available is challenged.

If this government was really serious about growth, it would start negotiating a new UK-EU trade deal with a bespoke customs union at its heart.

This is the single biggest lever ministers could pull to turbocharge our economy. The refusal of the Chancellor to even consider is worrying.
