I saw Rogue One in theaters in 2016 and thought “that was a pretty good movie”.

Nine years later when people ask me if I liked Rogue One (no one has, but maybe someday…) my response is “yeah, it’s a pretty good movie.”

For all my wannabe college football SEC hot take fan boys, don’t get it twisted.

Montana State would mop the floor with Chattanooga State.

Play 9 conference games then come back with your sick burns Brandon.
No, you played Montana State when Texas played Ohio State, LSU played Clemson, Alabama played Florida State, Auburn played Baylor, and South Carolina played Virginia Tech.

The same week

I’ve decided the only thing that could really save these uniforms is if the sash was actually made of real carpet.

It should have texture, like a high pile fleece jacket.

Or at least like a fuzzy velour material.
Hope you're ready, Rip City. PDX Carpet unis make their season debut tonight vs. the Suns on #NBAonNBC

That’s more like it Blazers

Is that "As It Was" by Harry Styles I hear?

I had a dream last night that Jrue Holiday just handed that ball off to Shaedon Sharpe who curled around the top of the arc, rose up, and buried a straight away 3 as time expired and the Blazers left Orlando with a W and a signature moment for a young star on the brink of a breakout.

Nah, Paul.

Stick a couple squashes in amongst those pumpkins and slap a couple pilgrim hats on those ghosts and skeletons.

Boom. Thanksgiving. Ride it out a few more weeks.
Halloween decorations have a shelf life of exactly one day. October 31st: fun and spooky. November 1st: Get that shit OUT. We’ve moved on. The season is OVER. Pack it up.

First game in the Rose Garden as well.
Vancouver vs Portland 30 years ago today, for the first time ever! Wish they were still in BC.
30 years ago today, the Vancouver Grizzlies made their NBA debut with a win over the Portland Trail Blazers 🇨🇦

Ham ($4), Mashed Potatoes ($5), Mac & Cheese ($5), Brussels Sprouts ($4), Pecan Pie ($2) = $20.

Woulda gone white meat turkey if gravy didn’t cost $3.

Ham doesn’t need gravy - value choice.
What's gonna be on your thanksgiving plate?
November 4, 2025 at 1:21 AM
WHAT I TELL YOU RIP CITY?!?!?
Bigger opportunity.

1-0 vs the Warriors already.
The other team's records just reflect the fact that they haven't played Portland yet.

Forget spooky season, IT'S NBA CUP SEASON!
Let's gooooooooo!

Where is Joe in all this? Weird he didn’t even introduce Tiago.

I’m sure he can’t say much, but he could at least show his face and say “I can’t say much”

Thursday's indictments announced by the FBI, involving alleged gambling schemes involving NBA players and Blazers coach Chauncey Billups, again exposed the imminent and future danger the league has by not dealing, finally, with tanking. In @theathletic.com:

If Kash Patel had any balls at all, he would have arrested Chauncey Billups during a time-out of the game last night and perp walked him out of the arena.

Reason #999 why this administration is a joke. They're soft.

If I were writing this movie script, the opening scene would have Jody Allen, Tom Dundon, and Joe Cronin getting seated for an early business breakfast at Fuller's, when a news story scrolling along the bottom of AM Northwest catches Dundon's eye and he asks the waitress to turn it up...

Chauncey Billups' coaching career comes to an end with the 2nd lowest winning percentage in NBA history among coaches that coached at least 329 games.

And he wasn't fired for his coaching. 🤯

Neil Olshey getting fired for running a toxic workplace instead of being a terrible GM was wild.

Chauncey Billups getting fired for his involvement in a mafia poker ring instead of being a terrible coach is next level.

Seriously tho… I was thissssssss close to placing a bet on Billups for COY last night.

At the last second I thought, nah, he’s gonna find a way to blow it that I can’t even imagine.

And sure enough 🤣

And y’all mad at Kawhi for not planting trees that he said he would.
The official charges against Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups are money laundering conspiracy and wire fraud conspiracy.

He will appear in Federal Court in Portland later this afternoon and be arraigned on his indictment in Brooklyn at a future date, according to the FBI.

Apparently Chauncey Billups been making ‘em uncomfortable for a while now.

What do we think Duck Nation?

IMO, the obvious answer is to expand the student section. Every student should have the opportunity to attend every game. It's part of what makes college special.

Autzen is better w/ more students in it too.

If you pay Shaedon Sharpe $150M now it could go 1 of 3 ways...

1) He plays up to it and it's a fair market-rate contract.
2) He never plays up to it and Portland overpaid.
3) He outplays the contract and Portland got a bargain.

If he is who we all think he is, he's gonna hit #3. Pay him.

Ok, baseball n00b here... is it normal for them to schedule elimination playoff games in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday?

Seems like a pretty big game to schedule during the work day.

I got through 11 of these designs last year before work and family got in the way and derailed the project.

Duck fans, should I pick it up again?
Comes out to 40-50 court designs if I try to do Mens and Womens teams again.
