@conniemenefee.bsky.social drove by the cemetery you go to some a week and a half ago. There was either a vulture or a turkey on the ground. Think it was the latter. Couldn’t get a good look through the trees from a moving car. This guy stoped by our hotel on friday AM before we left.

Not sure if I can do anything for this armadillo. Looks like it’s lost a good part of its tail (but is doing well otherwise) . But unfortunately it’s not a regular and we are heading out of town in the AM.

Never tried cherry bitters. Bitters are like the warblers or Pokémon of the cocktail world. Got to catch them all. My drawer of (mostly) bitters. The mole bitters was a funny story. Ordered the old fashioned bitters off Amazon 2x. Got mole both times. One bottle had a crack they said keep the other

The *one* thing that bugs me about the drive to Cincinnati is I go through bardstown, Elizabethtown, Louisville… the heart of bourbon country… with a wife, 2 kids, a dog, and a time crunch. Went with an old fashioned while I catch up on some work tonight.

It’s $53 for a bottle which in the grand scheme isn’t bad but more than I’m willing to pay for a daily driver. but if you can find this I’d recommend it. It’s some Italian brand and there’s some loophole a company has found that lets them import it (or something like that)

Haha! I just discovered these like a year ago (thanksgiving to be exact) and THEY ARE MY JAM! Left one looks a little funky as I tried micro-planing some orange and lemon and then used a corse (not fine like I thought I had grabbed) but man it was good
