@conniemenefee.bsky.social drove by the cemetery you go to some a week and a half ago. There was either a vulture or a turkey on the ground. Think it was the latter. Couldn’t get a good look through the trees from a moving car. This guy stoped by our hotel on friday AM before we left.

Not sure if I can do anything for this armadillo. Looks like it’s lost a good part of its tail (but is doing well otherwise) . But unfortunately it’s not a regular and we are heading out of town in the AM.

Two of my 3 would be assassins at my new house. Two of them kept crossing my front steps while I was trying to go down. One darted out and I almost (possibly did) kick him and nearly wiped out.

Ran by the new house. Got some interesting neighbors. Completely uninterested in me. Wound up having to wave a branch a few inches from them to get them to move (stomping my feet and whistling a few feet from them did not fix it). @punkvenus.bsky.social

Rescued this fledgling Carolina chickadee this afternoon. Little guy thought it would be cool to hang out in the street. Put him in a fork in a tree a few yards away. Looked very disappointed in itself.
