Grateful to the publisher for providing a review copy of the book.

I’m ecstatic to share that I’ve officially secured a lifelong civil servant position as a Secondary Education English Teacher in Madrid’s public education system — through one of the most competitive national exams in Spain. Feeling proud and very very grateful! 👩🏼‍🏫

In June 2024, I visited the only monument dedicated to the Magdalenes at Stephen's Green Park, Dublin. Unveiled by Taoiseach Mary Robinson in 1996, it doesn’t acknowledge the full reality of these institutions or offer an apology. A thought-provoking reminder of a difficult and unresolved history.

What have I been up to lately? 🎓I graduated from my MA in British Studies in October 2024 with an outstanding mark (1.3). My thesis, the result of six months of research, was supported by @humboldtuni.bsky.social and the University of Bologna, where I interned in the winter semester of 2023.🌍✨
