I saw the actor who plays Martha walk out of a Juice Press near Columbus Circle a couple of years ago and really wanted to tell her how happy I was that she no longer had to go to that depressing USSR grocery store

Challengers is on several snubs lists, but my personal “snub” would be Didi. (Don’t really believe in snubs just want to mention Didi.) Sean Wang’s film captures so much about teen life in the late aughts so so well. Go watch it on Peacock!

That being said… love seeing The Substance up there several times (insert tired Elisasue accepting award joke) and A Real Pain getting a nod for original screenplay

Just odd that a film that does everything at such a high level isn’t really part of the conversation. It was the best time I had watching a movie last year, and I know I’m not alone
