Phishing training companies (especially knowbe4) use custom headers to identify their messages. It would be terrible if everyone used message filtering rules to look for these and automatically delete phishing training messages.

The Rivian charger won’t charge if it can’t phone home for a few days, I don’t recommend it.

There used to be, I remember using one for kismet gps tagging back in the day. Once usb receivers like the UBX-G7020 became affordable, all those projects were abandoned.

It takes a little planning but it really isn’t bad. I use A better Route Planner (ABRP) and PlugShare apps. Charging infrastructure has improved so much in the past year and Tesla supercharger support has taken a lot of anxiety out of road trips.

I’ve had mine for a year, charge at home, driven 12k miles, mostly city driving, a few multi-day roadtrips. Parents and two siblings purchased EVs since I got mine, exceptional experiences across the board. Siblings both went the used route and have no regrets.

There are cooling systems on some models that need periodic but not frequent maintenance. Lubrication maintenance is also infrequent. Depending on driving environment, tires wear a bit faster than usual but I’ve heard stories of some needing tires after 15k miles.
