Epilogue: Train travel for the win

Update: It is now 9 days since the snowstorm and a major waking route to/from the metro station is still a sheet of ice.

It’s not alone. I guess the plan is to get wait for it to melt? Someday?

And there’s a couple more. To be clear, I didn’t go out of my way at all.

To be clear, each of these is a unique block/stretch. (My kids have distinctive coats/hats, so I’ve obscured them.)

Here’s some photos I took tonight along my usual route walking to pick up my kids from daycare & school. This is 4 days after the snowstorm, so the compacted snow on the sidewalks has turned to solid ice. These are routes to multiple schools and daycares, a rec center, and the Metro station.
