I admit it, I did the safety pin thing for a hot minute in 2016. But the performative bullshit needs to be left behind. If you’re acting right, you shouldn’t need to convince anyone that you are, in fact, “one of the good ones”.
Post that says “Stop worrying about whether Black women know you’re a safe white woman to be around, and start making sure white women know you’re not a safe person to be racist around.”
