Instead of learning they chant "WE'RE #1!" while they go bankrupt from medical debt and do active shooter drills in kindergarten.

And honestly I wouldn’t dismiss it, ever. I’d listen, and find other places where we disagree and focus on that instead. I have no standing to tell someone they aren’t being targeted by bias.

Knowing it’s a ruse coming from Trunp isn’t tricky. But I’m more hesitant to dismiss accusations of antisemitism coming from fellow citizens who have politics to the right of mine, especially when, as you say, it does show up on the left. That’s what I meant by tricky

I listen to people harmed when they tell me where antisemitism appears. But the Trump regime cries antisemitism as an excuse to impose their will. So it gets tricky. Still I try to teach my kids to be vigilant against it. Not just because it’s awful. It also undercuts any cause worth supporting

Very good point. Someone has made it “important” because it pushes the message that leftists are antisemitic. I’ve cautioned my kids only because they don’t have long experience spotting antisemitic tropes. But I don’t tell them not to support Palestinian rights. We all should support human rights

So what’s changed so drastically about the law and the constitution since 1992 to make it necessary to prevent transgender people from displaying their gender on a passport? Nothing. What’s changed is that transgender people are the scapegoat du jour. infuriating and heartbreaking
