I started hand embroidery as a hobby the week of the inauguration, and now my mental health depends on it. Thousands of tiny little angry canvas stabs and counting...
Adding machine sewing to my repertoire so I can make things to embroider on. Got this great little kit with easy instructions (and pre-cut fabric!). I will be making a ton of these little fabric baskets. Once cut, they take about 20 minutes to sew.

Some little bee embroidery pieces for my mom so she can put them on gifts of honey. Hoops and more mini hoops, stick and stitch bee stickers from I forget who, and then my choice of stitches.

My latest kit is finished. This kit is from Stitched Stories. I miss doing flowers but this helped me out of my comfort zone a bit. This is the first time I switched between two stitches in line to change the thickness of the line.

Chilly fresh air, cozy blanket, warm cat, and embroidery project - this is perfection.

My latest kit, designed by Capital Stitch Co. I loved the design, colors, and nee technique of mixing individual colored threads. I wasn't a fan of having to do a whole design with a stick and stitch applique instead of pre-printed fabric. I think it uncooked my French knots during the removal.

For someone who claims to do hand embroidery, I haven't posted about it. So, here is the last kit I finished. The large, sprawling amounts of satin stitch got the best of me, and I am not too happy with how the larger flowers turned out.

Bubba is having the time of his life this weekend. Chipmunks keep running back and forth in front of the door, sometimes stopping to look at him. These new storm doors were worth every penny so that my bestie can watch the chippies.

Ears up so you can hear Tall Mom coming home from work a mile away. Too bad it won't be for a few hours.
