Exactly. Biden's focus was never to help Ukraine win, or even help Ukraine push Russia out - which by itself might not have stopped the war. Biden's focus was to wear both sides down, then make Ukraine give up lost land in return for a bullshit peace. The war would start all over again later.
It would be easy to blame the Trump administration if we focus only on political rhetoric. However, the truth is that the Biden administration, as a whole, has been doing everything possible to enforce a stalemate between the two countries. Historians should document this betrayal accordingly.
