Then the first illness is comorbid and an invasive surgery required. A year later. There is post-surgery complication. A third illness. Specialists (every special kind) with no answers. And the original terminal diagnosis has progressed.

I blocked my calendar so that Thursdays are populated by very important meetings. Then I bought silver needle tea and started a new book, as in book. It's called sacred reading day.

The four IA specials this year have been in eastern Iowa and western Iowa; rural Iowa and urban Iowa; Dem districts and Republican districts.

And they've all seen very similar overperformances: 22, 24, 25 & 26 points. This is not good news for the GOP's hopes of holding #IAGov & #IASen.

My prediction is that in that scenario, he blames the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which puts out employment data. Calls them corrupt, run by Democrats, out to get him. Fires people there, insists their numbers cannot be trusted, White House puts out its own fictitious data to make Trump look good
