If and when I lose my sight I would still want to be able to engage with the work of artists whose work I love. Alt text is an important mechanism for that, which yes can be a bit inconvenient but allows more people to engage with the work.

I started on this and got a bit squeamish about how badly the protagonist was being treated and it seemed like it was just going to get progressively more miserable. Is it worth pushing through, is there satisfaction to be had? I loved OBAG

Oh absolutely, me and my brother knew him from when we used to ride the water taxi more than once a week, but I'm hardly ever down that side of the city these days
