Finally, and mind-blowingly, you don't need visual experience at all: blind children whose vision is later restored immediately perceive the illusion! Not only have these children not seen carpentry — they haven’t seen *anything*. And yet the illusion exists for them. (9/13)

Also apropos of nothing "Mangione is an Italian word that means "big eater" or "glutton," derived from the verb "mangiare," which means "to eat." It can refer to someone who eats large amounts of food."

especially when written in kana (ワルイージ.)since "L" and "R" are allophones in Japanese. I have to admit I had kind of hoped for "Fuigi" to preserve the single letter inversion (and "fu"/不 is also negative or bad). As it turns out, Waluigi does have an inverted "L" on his cap, which I had forgotten.

30 years since Digable Planet's BLOWOUT COMB came out. One of my favorites, as was the live experiences of their REACHIN' tour—watching them from the second level at Tipitina's in NOLA as a pretty much evenly split crowd of black and white undulated and bounced below.
