Novelist, historian, retired house restorer and medievalist with a penchant for magic and witchery. Gardener and novice wood-worker. Inherited a bunch of bonsais with instructions to do nothing but not kill them. So far, so good.
Unless R.I.C.O. statutes carry stricter penalties than the original crimes.

It's not enough to see fines or civil penalties.

I'm with you on hoping someone somewhere is quietly caching all the data and records, but I remember how hard/impossible it was to reunite children and parents in Trump 1.

One option would be holding the officials who shield the criminals and/or destroy records personally liable for the crime itself. If you can't get the street level perp, hold the upstream perp responsible.

YIpee! I know what I'm going to be reading 5 or 6 times this afternoon. Aloud. In a thick drawl.

Such an unbelievably great movie!

Yes! Yes yes yes! Ben Franklin, who proposed the copyright law, would hang the oligarchs from a church steeple if he were here. There is nothing in the DMCA to protect artists and benefit the public good.

That's a jaunty fish below, though. Not as great as the goose, but the fish has it going on too.

I literally had this argument on FB yesterday, from a kid whose diapers I changed long ago and who graduated from the Charlie Kirk school of debate. It didn't go well esp. after I told him to tell his mom and dad I said hi.

Hi RSA! I've been in chemo since '94 for breast cancer. You're absolutely right about both the notebook and a 2nd set of ears. Your companion will hear the things you don't. After 30+ years, I never go to a consult alone, and I always have paper and pen. It's kept SO much from being missed. Thanks!

It wasn’t flattering—it was honest. You should be more widely read.

Good luck with the agent search, because I really want to read both of the books you have in your pipeline. Best wishes!

One more trick: don't try to understand it. Nobody understands it.

Reading him aloud won’t make him more intelligible, but it, and coffee, will keep you awake.
