A big octopus and some little octopi that I made. The big kid is 12 now, which somehow doesn't seem possible. I enjoyed celebrating her today.
A chocolate cake decorated to look like a purple dumbo octopus. 12 cupcakes decorated with yellow buttercream. Some of them look like friendly octopi, honestly - one looks like a smiley sunshine, and some of them are just a mess, but we had some fun decorating them!

A bit of sci-fi for me. Project Hail Mary from Andy Weir. Picked it up from the library because I enjoyed The Martian and Artemis. Enjoying it so far, especially as the main character turns out to be a teacher!
