Recently finished this. Five stars, though the other book I've read by this author is BUSINESS OR PLEASURE and I slightly preferred that one.

I have a lot of self-loathing for myself for getting involved in a DnD campaign when I was in active alcoholism, wanting friendships and not just a game, and not speaking up when someone else was talking over me (not maliciously but annoying).

Didn't sleep great last night and listened to an alarm chirp every 30 seconds for 5 hours today. I feel so sane and not overstimulated.

In case people forget. You should be boycotting Starbucks. Tomorrow starts their strike. Going to Starbucks is crossing picketing lines.

Maybe all ADHD people knew this, but I started unpacking from this trip by tackling stuff they needed a lot of reorganizing into its homes first (makeup, jewelry) and wrapping up with stuff that just needs a hanger or something. I feel less burnt out on the process.

I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

I keep doing things that should help my self-esteem: deep cleaned my home office, scrubbed out the fridge, sold some books to the used bookstore, and got my wedding rings resized.

Our older cat was sniffing our younger cat's butt earlier, way too close IMO, and it really solidified why the younger cat loves older cat, but doesn't like her.
