She looks like a snowshoe! We have one, too. She, too, has had food issues all her life (as well as digestive issues) and has developed very Particularly & Queenly Standards of Variety for her meals.

It's a lovely photo! And memory.

I hope your pet (dog, cat, other?) is okay! (3 hours can feel horribly long in a vet waiting room...)

Oh, Gonzo! ❤️

That's so nice -- what smart (and beautiful, too!) cats you have!

My question, too!

We had nonrecognition aggression problems between cats who were litter mates so this looks absolutely miraculous!

Yes to his refusal to go out! And then there was that, hm, shattering end to the chapter...

Thank you! Wow, lots going on yesterday at the hair salon.

They taste great together either way!

I think of the song most when I'm cooking...

This is very close to how I made stuffing back when I roasted turkeys. The differences: ordinary whole wheat bread, adding garlic & sage (all the Scarborough Fair herbs). And using a combo of olive oil & butter. I always got compliments on mine, too. It's the vegetables that make it!

And how plainly spoken/written it is.

He's such a beautiful cat! I'm glad he's settled in so nicely in Berlin. I can hardly believe two years have already passed!

So true!! (And I do love to laugh, thank you!!)

For some reason I find the Hilton Garden Inn sponsorship especially funny here!
November 23, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Now I have, thank you!
November 23, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Intriguing, indeed! I'm looking forward to hearing more as we read, @nemimeli.bsky.social!
November 23, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Thank you! I'm ready for the next one...

Miss M., I so understand about the plays running together -- the same happens to me. So much mayhem!
November 23, 2025 at 3:50 PM
I love them! Thank you for the photo and footage.
November 23, 2025 at 2:11 AM
And it is very sweet!
November 22, 2025 at 2:00 AM
This is one of those photos that makes you wonder, "how did that happen anyway?"
November 22, 2025 at 1:59 AM
I know what you mean. (We have an evergreen behind the house that we don't want to cut but it's been slowly dying for several years and will likely need to go in the spring...)
November 22, 2025 at 12:56 AM
Hearting only because I agree with you -- it's so hard to lose trees. (We've had to cut a lot in our years here for various reasons and it never feels easy unless they're already in very bad shape...)

What a beautiful way to patch!
