As the federal administration moves at a breakneck pace to destroy public protections, which will only raise costs and worsen health for NYers, baby steps aren't enough. We are counting on the NYS Legislature to demonstrate leadership on critical climate, environment, and public health protections.

A particularly notable absence was funding and policy to cut energy bills and tackle rate hikes for New Yorkers. The solution is the #NYHEAT act. All eyes are on @nyassemblymajority.bsky.social to finally deliver for their constituents. The clock is ticking: earthjustice.org/press/2025/n...
