New research from @kgoldmd.bsky.social et al finds that Family Med docs receive about 17 messages per patient-facing clinic hour, the highest of any primary care doc. Payment for patient care over the portal is needed so that primary care docs are still available for routine care. michmed.org/Kkbbe
