When you find someone with a gift for data analysis, instead of saying "'Oh, well, that's really great that you can do that, but we don't really do that here.' Instead, change it to, 'What can we do with your particular skill set?'”

One idea he had for helping with the talent shortage was "finding the people within their firm that they're not only just worth keeping, but those people that are probably able to do more than just what they're positioned for."

"Technology shouldn't be used as a shield. It should be for getting through all the stuff faster, so that we can sit down and work on what is it that's bringing value to our clients."

I read somewhere that the Brussels sprouts grown today are a different variety than the horrid ones I choked down as a kid. Less bitter, more sweet. Hated them then, love them now.
