They’ve smashed the control panel to pieces, ripping out the wires with wild abandon, until one button remains – ‘BOATS’ – and they’ll keep pressing that button from now until 2029, and when that inevitably fails, they will turn around and blame you.

Could we make a polite suggestion to include staff & students in your coverage of #UKHE? You are getting an very patchy view on matters if you're only listening to the people who have championed the system that's causing the collapse, and not those who have been trying to protect what unis are for.

Teen Vogue has been holding the line against the destruction of journalism for years now, so this is truly devastating news. Young women are politically engaged and deserve more than this.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
