Music. Cats. Books.
It’s not every day I wake up at 6am for an 8:30am call time for a 10am concert on a Thursday morning. But when I do, I’m exhausted by 1pm. 🎶😮‍💨😴

I was delighted to hear Fortune Feimster talking about the Libby app on the Handsome podcast this week! And yes! Everyone *should* have a library card! 📚

Posting Kieko for #WhiskersWednesday. When I brought her home 4 months ago, her whiskers were fully white. Since then they’ve been growing in black. She may be Benjamin Button 🤷‍♀️

Celebrated the 4th by going to see the American Ballet Theater perform an English ballet. No regrets. Joby Talbot and Christopher Wheeldon are a match made in heaven. #AWintersTale #ABT

The Minnesota assassin appears to be a hate-filled right winger. So can we stop walking on eggshells about MAGA's legitimization of political violence?

Yes, Republicans have also been the target of inexcusable violence, but this isn't a "both sides" issue.

These are the only talking points they have against every librarian and we’re hearing it across the country.
Reporter: The president fired the Librarian of Congress. Why?

Leavitt: There were quite concerning things she had done at the Library of Congress in the pursuit of DEI and putting inappropriate books in the library for children.

It’s a great day to visit your local library, let your library boards know you value intellectual freedom, and tell your representatives we need the IMLS, especially if you like Libby and BorrowIT services. 📚💪📚
