Amazing that I once described myself as an introvert when the circumstances that finally forced me to do months overdue game prep so I could stop improvising everything was *every* single one of my partners and close friends being busy and out of the neighborhood for the evening.

Real talk, that first summer of Pokémon Go was kind of incredible. Seeing people from all walks going around excitedly catching Pokémon and eagerly sharing tips with each other. Kind of felt like society was healing. But then it ended and everything got so much worse.

God I love a good single session dungeon, they got to explore, got all the flavor, rounded up some unique treasure to use in the future, circumvented some threats and finished up in a clean 2.5 hours.

Having the unprompted thought "God, I'm such a weird bitch" (meant entirely lovingly) is an odd headspace to start my day in, but I'm here for it.
Just perpetually bringing my bullshit into the most mundane spaces and refusing to acknowledge its odd or abnormal until they do.

Lately I've taken to writing poetry about life and my partners, and soon I'll collect them all and make a nicely formatted little zine out of it and it'll just be for me and maybe them and that's enough.

Like the pitch is, "I want to do something in this genre, with this system, and these people who I trust to give me A TON to work with", that's about what I got.
