Who my blind cats are named after.

Rogue named after Chirrut Îmwe. (Rogue One: a Star Wars story) This one is a little different. Originally, I was going to name him Chirrut, but it was a mouthful. Îmwe is a cute name. However, with my voice it sounds like I can't pronounce Henry correctly. 😂

You don't take away love from your child(ren), when a new child arrives.

The same principle applies in poly relationships as well. Loving a new person should never take away from your spouse or other partner(s). A person who treats their spouse/partner with the utmost love and respect is paramount.

Do you realize how much you have to f*** up to have the Supreme Court rule against you 9-0? Glad they got this one right! Hopefully it's the start of Chief Justice Roberts growing some balls and siding with the constitution. I have little hope for Justice Thomas.

I want to post more positive things on my feed. So, let's play a game. Is my cat sleeping? 😂

Recently, a co-worker told me that the reason I'm poly is because nobody could love me. I know this isn't true, and I have little respect for this person. However, it did bring up some insecurities that I thought I had gotten passed. It messed with my brain and put me in a bad headspace for a while.

How does work go from a place you love, to a place you dread?

I love my niece and nephews, but I am so glad I never had kids. I swear I'm going to have a panic attack by the time this night is over.

Why does the brain bring out every negative thought you have about yourself, when you're going through a rough time. It would be so helpful if it could be your biggest cheerleader instead.

Is it a law of the universe that when areas of your life are going well, that other areas have to go to shit? Especially the areas that have been great for years. 🥺

Brain, why do you have to be such an asshole. 🧠

First verse of 'Tracks of my Tears" by Smokey Robinson.

"People say I'm the life of the party 'cause I tell a joke or two. Although, I might be laughing loud and hearty, deep inside I'm blue."

The first verse of 'Tracks of my Tears' by Smokey Robinson speaks to me so much when I'm having a shit day or week. Keeping a smile plastered on my face is exhausting. I'm sorry being sad and quiet or down makes others uncomfortable. I'll be back to my happy peppy self soon. I just need time.

Coworkers: You're being a lot. Just settle down and don't be so much. We don't like you like this.

Next day takes prescription meds that help during panic attacks.

Coworkers: Why are you being so quiet. Where's your spunky, happy self. We don't like you like this.

When you're told you're overstepping because you object to coworkers breaking protocol and compromising image quality and patient safety because their way is easier.

This is our portable x-ray machine at work. We call him Snoop because of the mysterious cloud above his head. 😊

Yes, libraries are invaluable for their collections and public services they offer, but also social contact without the expectation to interact with anyone or spend any money is so important to so many people

I cannot recommend this book enough. There is so much insight into Putin's regime. It can be difficult at times, but so worth it.

I have great coworkers. I know I can always count on them and they make my work day incredibly fun. I realize most of my coworkers who voted, voted for Trump. I know they're not malicious people, but I have trouble reconciling that they voted against the rights of people I love. 🥺
