I agree that more manufacturing needs to return to America. That said, if you want 'Made In America' arresting and deporting the people making those products in America might not be a good idea. Meanwhile these arrests haven't made a dent in the fentanyl supply on the streets.

I was busy at the farmers market and dog beach this weekend. I hear California collapsed while I was selling dog treats. I guess I missed it? This is what California looked like for me.

Still alive - just ALL in with business stuff these days. Now fully booked with markets and getting my products in shops! This is what I traded 30 years of broadcasting for. Even through rain, thunder, lightning and funnel clouds, my customers came to get their doggo treats! #SmallBusiness

I bought a used van the other day for the business from a dealer that specialises in alternative fuel vehicles (it runs on natural gas). 90% of the cars on the lot were Tesla. They said they have more in storage - they can't get rid of them.

I've caught myself 'doomscrolling' too much lately. Time to put down the electronics (including the kindle) and pick up more books. Also, carefully choosing where I spend my money. ThriftBooks is a wonderful alternative to the big A - this makes me happy about my purchases.

I love my kindle, but my biggest annoyance is the language being edited to "American English" from Hibernian and British English. When I'm in Ireland and the UK I pick up books at every stop so I can read them as they were intended. I'm still unpacking and finding books. Not sorry 😂🤓

Starting a business involves a lot of hurdles, but I'm always up for the challenge! The next hurdle is to send samples of every treat to the lab for analysis for nutrition and ingredient labels, and the department of agriculture for the permit to sell animal food. www.doggoniceday.com
