It’s actually worse. In the Great British Bake Off they don’t ask the contestants to produce domestic size pastries etc using industrial size bowls & implements like you’d see in a factory. Asking knitters to knit on jumbo size needles with thick roving yarn is equivalent. It’s hard on the hands.

I have a simple metaphor. Cars didn't just eliminate the horse and cart they made people lazier when they no longer had to walk places. They then got less fit and gained weight.

Generative AI is not just taking jobs from people it's making people intellectually lazy and therefore unfit.
