Life is a continuum. Never lift. Take the good ride.
Yucca. Got a bunch for the new drive. What is your experience? Are they hardy. Picky? Concerns? I want to keep them well. #gardening

Help! My question. My beloved light green hosta has never looked so bad. And in its heyday I photographed it for my very special big seller cotton sateen down pillow cover ( a beauty) Now, I’m looking for answers. What’s causing this leaf trauma? #gardening,#plants

Hosta troubles. My shade garden is a ten year home to many varieties. Never had this leaf damage. At first I thought it was leaf burn from crazy sun. I don’t water midday. A few plants are less involved. Holes in the leaves? Much appreciated. #gardening

Thanks Larry- in general I totally agree. When my bushes got infected with two pests and Bonide products weren’t covering, I caved. In theory, I should pull the bushes and go native. They’re too healthy now!Beautyberry is across and behind the 13 boxwoods at center which I grew from babies!

These are two clips from my beautyberry bush. The right branch is the typical one- all others look like this. The one on the left is a frightening mutant, thick stalk like celery-mini leaves sprouting out of it. A blackened head at top-I’ve never seen anything like it -anybody?

Some serious baking going on at Textbook by Bakery. We were thrilled to help them out with a bit of their inventory one morning in Bed-Stuy. This article was from 2024 when they just opened. What a great offer!! pix11.com/news/local-n...

The fantastic Miss Kim has been burdened by all the rain. I’m concerned her left side is becoming too heavy. To prune or not to prune? #gardening#arborist

Miss Kim. This is what a tree rescue looks like. She was squeezed by the side of the house until we moved her to center stage. My favorite. #garden#lilac#flowers

On another note. Can you take a break from hateful politics to recharge? This is my garden where I’m going right now to escape.

My little white hosta. Failing to thrive in its 3rd year. Why? She sprouts fresh and white and then melts into brown mush. Any thoughts?#gardening# hosta
