Sonia Sodha has long been firmly against any form of assisted dying and any assisted dying system. I found it helpful to bear that in mind when I listened to the R4 programme.

Longtime assisted dying opponent Hadley Freeman quotes an MP on the Bill Committee, NHS doctor @simonforstroud.bsky.social as saying: "It is very important that this committee doesn’t get too hung up on anorexia". Hadley then majors on how unrestricted AD laws could impact those with anorexia...
