Alicja Kwade's WeltenLinie (2017) at the Venice Biennale and the Hayward Gallery in London. It brings to mind #symmetry, but isn't quite symmetrical at all. #MathArt25

The fifth year of our MS Math Art Lunch Club is off to a gentle start. Fewer kids than previous years, but still the same amount of joy. Today was the first time in all these years that we explored the Fold and Cut Theorem. Lots of exploration, trial and error, and imagination! #MathArt

Shared this video with my kiddos today and they loved it! I also learned that the un-cancelled cancelled Leap Day happened in 2000. I had no idea back then. thekidshouldseethis.com/post/how-doe...

The Math Art Lunch Club kiddos had so much fun with the small spirograph sets I cut from scrap acrylic...they even started making little spirograph monsters! It was 30 mins of play and joy. What's not to love? I dream of cutting a large spirograph that will work with chalk outdoors.

So, apparently in Switzerland, you can regularly buy eggs in boxes of 4, 6, 10 or 15, and also, there are brightly colored eggs year round! #unitchat #eggchat @triangleman.bsky.social

The Math Art Lunch Club that I run for Grade 5-8 kiddos once every fortnight is just the loveliest. Even on a busy week, there is lots of joy.
