Stress and anxiety built up over time can be weird especially if you’re “high functioning” b/c you don’t realize how much you carry with you, whether it’s tension in your body, mental capacity or emotional weight so when it’s gone even for a little you’re like “wow how did ever let myself get here”

Gotta say. Every new report of a protest is a huge hit to my dopamine/copium today.
I am devastated by sadness and fear today. I'm trying to talk myself down without substances involved.
I keep telling myself... It is a hard, ominous world right now. I've been morbidly sick and wasn't taking my proper meds. We had to put down a pet yesterday. This will all pass. It's just a slog.
