BREAKING: Police just surrounded Rev. William Barber, prominent activist and pastor, as he and others prayed in the U.S. Capitol Rontunda.

Police then expelled everyone (including press!) from the Rotunda to (presumably) arrest them.

I've covered protests here a lot. Never seen anything like it.

School districts routinely ignore laws protecting students with disabilities. State education agencies routinely fail in the general supervision, monitoring & enforcement role. Without fed oversight, there is no logical reason why SEA’s would care about parent participation in the resolution process

Who will hold state education agencies accountable for the implementation of IDEA? SEA’s already do a shocking job of district supervision - without OSEP oversight there is zero accountability.
