I’m a public high school teacher in Dallas, Texas and a contributing editor for Hypertext Magazine. The thoughts expressed here are my own.
“If Trump truly is, I don’t know, the American Franco or Pinochet—and I’m not going that far just yet—but if he was, he could easily accomplish that through the weapons we’ve given him through decades of national security policy.”

"Extremely disturbing": What does Trump's "antifa" executive order actually do?

Here’s one: Start calling elected officials by pronouns you know will make them mad. If they correct you tell them you need proof of their gender. If they talk about birth certificates ask them about the signing doctor’s vaccine recommendations. Use their narrative-controlling tools against them.

Hey, Millennials! If I’m reading this book correctly it’s about time for your revolution to start. I’m too old and soft for the front lines, but if you need somebody to manage one of your guillotine factories, hit me up.

In times like these reading fantasy feels decadent, but what is Christmastime if not a time when decadence can carry us through the darkness?
