I don't know if she was happy but I don't think she had regrets. But I couldn't believe my friend felt that Turner killing her best friend in such a calculated way was something admirable. I was already in a bad spot with that friend, but that was one of the biggest nails in the coffin.

No, it was incredibly stupid. I could tell she was on Twitter during the movie so she wasn't really watching it. So without getting into the weeds of what happened but she thought Kathleen Turner's character's outcome was great and did the right thing. It was a conflict of our personal values.

I actually had a falling out with a friend over the ending of Body Heat! But I agree - a double feature would be fun!

He was such an incredibly talented director. For me, The Apartment is the best, but after that, it's hard to rank them. All so good!
